Meet Paul and Jackie!

Paul Kacaba

Paul has been transforming homes across Durham Region—from Oshawa to Newcastle—for over 35 years. As a Master Electrician, Licensed Plumber, Certified Home Inspector, and Mechanical Foreman, he’s been immersed in Durham Region renovations and construction since 1986, founding Multi-Trade Building Services in 1990. With a true passion for craftsmanship, Paul takes immense pride in delivering work of the highest quality.

Renovations are in his blood—he comes from a family of plumbers and spent his teens and early 20s helping build a family cottage from the ground up. Outside of work, Paul is a creative thinker who enjoys tinkering with his inventions and dreams of one day earning his pilot’s license. He’s also very passionate about animal rescue and donates most of his profits to supporting Durham Region and Clarington animal rescues.

Jackie Stezik

As a project manager, Jackie ensures seamless renovations for clients across Clarington and the Durham Region, with a focus on personalized service. She takes pride in cultivating a talented, dedicated team that shares her vision for excellence.

Jackie’s journey into renovations began in a deeply personal way—after a house fire left her without a home. Paul and his team were among the contractors chosen to restore it, and their professionalism and dedication left a lasting impression. With a Master’s degree and a certificate in Interior Decorating, Jackie recognized the incredible potential to grow the company. She officially joined Multi-Trade Building Services in 2006, and together, she and Paul have been making renovation dreams in Durham Region a reality ever since.
